Green Holly Parent Advisory Board
Please complete this survey if you would like to be part of the Green Holly Parent Advisory Committee. The committee will meet three times a year to discuss parent and staff support, family engagement, school budget allocations and ensuring that services are accessible to all students.

Counselor's Corner
COUNSELOR'S CORNER
CHAT LIVE
Ms. Swick now has regular office time and your child can chat live with her on google meet. If your child would like to speak to the counselor all he/she needs to do is type in the google meet code swickghes on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday between 10:30-11:00 and 3:00-3:30.
LUNCH BUNCHES
All students in grade K-5 have been offered, and most have participated in lunch bunches. Mrs. Swick and Mrs. Baker will continue to offer lunch bunches as we stay in virtual learning. Lunch bunches offer students important social interaction time. They chat, play games and sometimes dance! Please encourage your child to join a lunch bunch when it is offered to him/her. It's a great way to have some fun down time with classmates.
Music News for 5th Grade
Band, Chorus, and Strings:
Chorus has moved days to Friday at 10:30! The google meet code is gheschorus
Please refer to the band, chorus, and strings Schoology courses for each week's live teaching schedule and assignments. If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Mrs. Krause at kskrause@smcps.org or Mr. Wagner at mdwagner@smcps.org.
Nurse's Corner
If you have medications to give to Nurse Lasher please call and make an appointment to give the medications to her. Medications CANNOT be sent to school in students backpacks or on the bus. Nurse Lasher is available to meet parents during drop off and pick up.
COVID -19 Protocol
If your child is attending in-person and does not come to school because they have been Quarantined for a COVID-Like illness/exposure or test positive for COVID-19 please notify the SMCPS COVID support team at 301-475-5511 ex 32256 or email covid19support@smcps.org
Someone from the team will reach out and guide you on next steps.
If your child is returning for in-person learning please have a "Quick pick up plan", with your family, if your child needs to go home sick. If your child is sick and must be picked up, they must be picked up within 30 minutes of being notified.
Questions and concerns related to students returning to in-person learning can be found on the GHES webpage under the health and safety button.
