Report cards will go home soon. It is imperative that you check the categories in your grade book to see if all sections are listed. If you have a problem, email Mrs. LeBlanc today.

CBAs are approaching. Please be sure to consult the Year at a Glance for specific dates. A copy of the District Assessment Security Procedures will be placed in your mailbox. Please sign the oath and return it to Ms. Lavergne by Friday.

Attached to the original email you will find CBA #1 Administration Update. Be sure to read over the information carefully because there are changes for the 2015-2016 school year.

The Commissioner of Education has made a recommendation to revise the STAAR passing standards. An update from TEA and the 2015 Raw Score Conversions will be attached to the original email. Pay close attention to the section titled Proposed New.

As always, professional development opportunities are available. If you are interested in any of the workshops, please email Mrs. LeBlanc.

Many changes were discussed during the CREST conference. There are 84th Legislative changes and SBEC updates attached to the email.

Donors Choose/Chevron Fuel Your School opportunities are available. Check out their website for information. I have been told that all projects under this title are funded. This is a great opportunity to secure books for your personal library.

Sheltered Instruction Strategies will be a focus this week. If you need resources, please see Mrs. LeBlanc.

Last but not least, please be sure to attend curriculum academies so that you can have updated information from the district. The coaches prepare information to assist teachers with instruction for upcoming units of study.
