WMS Weekly Warrior
Week of 1-28
Principal's Post
Good Afternoon WMS Community,
Short weeks in schools are sometimes the busiest. On Tuesday our students worked with guest drum instructor John Marshall. The students were able to work from simple rhythms to playing actual songs. Pictures below share some of the excitement.
Our 8th grade students were busy with the early steps preparing them for high school. Nonnewaug HS hosted an open house on Thursday night for students and parents followed by an electives fair on Friday.
The Boys Basketball Team hosted an 8 team tournament while our Girls team played in the finals of a tournament in Oxford. The cheerleaders were there as usual rooting the teams to victory.
Warrior Council will host Spirit Week starting on Wednesday of next week. This event will help support the pancake breakfast on Feb. 3rd. Please remember that donations are needed to support this event.
Sorry for the late addition and enjoy your weekend.
