Better Together

Dear Wiggin Street Families,

Our Kindergarten, First Grade, and Second Grade classes had the opportunity to shine Tuesday night at their Mini Musicals that told the stories of The Little Red Hen, The Three Little Pigs, and How to Be a Pirate. Mrs. Springer had students well prepared to put on an excellent show for students, staff, and families. Thanks to Mrs. Springer, teachers, and all that helped with cleaning up after the show.

The Kindergarten and Second Grade had a guest reader today that told the story of how to become a pirate. Check out the video and pictures below that caused a lot of buzz this morning!

Lastly, Friends of Wiggin Street and teachers are busy planning for this year's Fun Festival. We can't wait to have this school community event again! Check out ways below that you can help.

Have a great weekend!

Warmly,

Christy Grandstaff

Special Pirate Guest

Nick Zarley, Wiggin Street parent, surprised the Kindergarten and Second Grade classes by arriving to school to read aloud How to Become a Pirate by Melinda Long in full pirate costume. The kids loved having a real pirate share his story!
