Mr. Osahon and Ms. Biegel, our MESA Coordinators, received positive reviews from the HCPSS Office of Community Outreach & Engagement. Raymond Lucas, the MESA Program Manager, said the following:

Greetings Ms. Biegel and Mr. Osahon:

I am so glad that Dr. Martin and I were able to visit you and your students during your MESA session on Wednesday at Jeffers Hill Elementary. The progress that your students have made on their projects is truly phenomenal ensuring enough time for real fine-tuning of their projects.

Your students were totally engaged on their projects and excited to talk about them. It was also great to meet your parent volunteers supporting you with both their unique talents and time. It is clear that the students feed off of your energy and enthusiasm. You are creating some very special MESA Moments for your students that they will remember for the rest of their lives.

Thanks for being those Teachers that we NEVER forget, and I was blessed to have quite a few that I consider crucial to my success, both professionally and personally!

Keep up the great work (and I will work on remembering as many student names as possible!!!!)

...and see you in the Winner's Circle!!
