Schedule Pick-Up Reminder!

School resumes on Tuesday, August 24th

Mr. Jamrose, Principal

I look forward to welcoming you and your family to Indian Trail. We are here to support you and your family. If you have any questions or just want to say hi, please feel free to contact me.

Schedule Pick-Up Info

We will be holding our Schedule Pick-Up Event for ALL students according to the following schedule. You may attend any of these days/times:

  • Tuesday, August 17th 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
  • Wednesday, August 18th 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm
  • Thursday, August 19th 8:00 am – 3:00 pm

Based on updated guidance from IDPH, we will require face coverings for all individuals regardless of vaccination status. Returning students who attended a District 4 school last year and completed the registration AND proof of residency process can proceed immediately after checking in.

Please enter through Door 8, which is located at the back of the building. For students entering grade 6 only or any 7th grade students that did not submit a physical last year due to being remote, a current physical must be submitted in order to receive a schedule in addition to proof of all updated vaccines required by the Illinois Department of Public Health. Parents/guardians and students who did not complete registration, proof of residency, or submit a physical and all updated vaccines will be directed to a different area of the building to submit the required documentation.

Students will receive their class schedules, Chromebook, hall locker assignment and combination, as well as other important school information during Schedule Pick-Up. This is a great opportunity for students to walk around the building to locate classrooms, practice opening their lockers, check out opportunities to join a club/sport, and meet some teachers.

Lastly, due to the pandemic and a staffing shortage, the photography company will not be taking school photos until October. More information will come in September. If you have any questions, please call the main office at 630-458-2600.

We look forward to seeing you and supporting your child and family!

Help Needed - Addison Mentor Program

The Addison Mentor Program is looking for community members and business professionals to serve as mentors for students at Indian Trail Junior High School in Addison School District 4.

The purpose of the program is to identify students “on the brink of success,” who will benefit from having a positive role model. Adults from the local business community are matched with students and meet for 30 minutes once a week at Indian Trail Junior High School.

The program has been running strong and 2021-2022 school year will be the 18th year running! Mentors are trained by Addison Mentor Program staff and need to complete an application and a background check to join the program.

Please consider becoming a mentor for a student at Indian Trail starting in the Fall of 2021!

Please contact Christine Hubek, School Social Worker, at 630-458-2571 or School will be back in session as of August 24th. The program usually starts around October 1st.

Summer Volleyball Camp

Bump, set, spike! Is your child interested in brushing up on your rusty volleyball skills or want to learn some volleyball basics? Come to the Indian Trail Braves volleyball camp this summer. It will run during the week of August 16th-20th in the morning. All incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th graders are welcome! Permission slips can be picked up from the main office now, and payments must be made before the first day of camp. Participants will get a t-shirt and it is open to both boys and girls.

Summer Cross Country Camp

Coach Perez and coach Pytko would like to invite any students who enjoy running to come out and join us on the Indian Trail Cross-Country team. Cross-Country is a great way to meet other students and make new friends. Cross-Country is a team sport where typically 6th and 7th grade girls run together in a 1.5 mile race. The 6th and 7th grade boys usually run together for 1.5 miles too. The 8th grade girls and boys run 2.0 miles in their races. The Cross-Country season officially begins on the first day of school on August 25th and lasts through the end of September. Practice is every day after school 3:00-4:30 pm, rain or shine. We will also be hosting a cross country camp this summer August 10, 11, 13, 17, 18, and 20. All skill levels are welcome! Permission slips can be found in the main office or in Skyward for payment. All students must pre-pay with the main office or through Skyward.
