As always, if there is something you know our collection is missing, whether it be a specific title or a topic, please send me an email and I will get it added to the "shopping cart".
Coding
- Unplugged activities do not require devices.
- Plugged activities do.
Unplugged activities explain the why and how. They are valuable and easy to implement. Carolyn Porzuczek and I both have a manual you are free to use. Code.org has a wealth of information and activities. As a teacher you have the ability to assign lessons and activities. If you need any help, please see me. I am here to help.
Reminder we also have materials housed in Mr. Kyle's office that can be used to support coding.
- Spheros-Students must have the app downloaded to their iPads.
- littleBits-Third graders used these last year.
I am currently working on writing a grant to acquire Lego Education Kits for coding. Keep fingers crossed.
BSE Broadcasts
So, if your class has a story to share, email me and we will get working.
Please send two Bear Paws by each Thursday to the library. The basket is on the shelf outside of Mr. Kyle's door. Thanks.
