Week of March 11
Communication PD - Tuesday, March 12 beginning at 8:15am in Media Center
March 13 - Lunch Provided by National Group
A Challenge for you...I have had a lot of great conversations regarding this challenge over the last week or so - thank you for taking this so seriously. (this will cycle off next week, but the challenge remains)
I have one simple, yet a profound challenge to extend an already evident demeanor by all of you. Ready...think of one or two students from each grade level that may be “different from the others”, or a constant struggle to engage or motivated. Ok, got a couple of faces?... Now, how can you make his or her day each and every day? I have a few I’ve identified a few myself and will be more regularly checking in and out with them each day, too. See, that wasn’t so hard.
How can we continue to build our environments to be that way for all students? That is the ever-pressing struggle we face as teachers and educators.
March 13 - SIT Meeting & March 20 - PBIS
Talk About It Tuesday - List of Prompts - No school tomorrow
Please remember to display the conversation starters sent to you in a different email. Each Tuesday classroom teachers should start each session by reiterating the importance of this and the goal, which is to develop and foster stronger communication skills of all students.
