Adopt a Child Celebration
Ms. Slaughter's History class participated in a newly created event, called Adopt-A-Child, which is a giving initiative to elementary aged students that is run and organized by high school students. The event paired elementary children with a high school classroom that hosted a party for the elementary students that included food, fun activities, and gifts.
A big thanks to our ECHS Parents who helped make this event a success!!
Special thanks to Nichole Boynton, Margie Craig, Christie Guess, and Sabrina James!

Princeton Review Opportunity
SAT Prep at Early College High School
Junior students will take the SAT on ………. In partnership with the Princeton Review, a talented team of teachers has been trained and will be working with interested juniors to assist them in preparation for the exam. Utilizing the proven prep program developed and refined by Princeton Review, our teachers will provide instruction in the strategies, content, and skills assessed to bolster student performance.
A firm commitment from both students and families is required to receive the maximum benefit. Students should anticipate practice assignments to improve their skill with the techniques, strategies, and information covered in the course. If you plan to participate, please act immediately as we do expect that spaces will fill quickly. A wait-list will be maintained should registrants drop prior to the start of the course. Priority will be given to juniors preparing for the SAT.
Course Schedule: SAT Prep will take the place of the AVID class for the 2019 Spring semester.
Attendance Policy: Students are permitted a total of one absence (including classes and exams) for serious illness or family emergency. A second absence will result in removal from the course; no refunds will be given. In order to maximize success and experience great improvement, students must be present and practice the techniques developed in the course.
Tuition and Fees: The fee for the Princeton Review course at Early College High School is $125—reduced from $800. Additional discounts will be offered for those that qualify for Free and Reduced fees. The fee covers course materials, instruction, three full-length practice exams, and teacher feedback.
Registration: To register, please complete and return the Student/Parent Agreement form and payment to Mrs. Cubias in the Main Office by, Friday, December 14th. Payment is due on Wednesday, January 9th. Checks should be made out to Early College High School.
