March 2016 Newsletter
A Message from our President
In addition, this month we begin our education luncheon series with Dr. Danny SIngley of Men Excel. We are also thrilled that the always interesting and fun PMADs study group has been renewed and is now in a rotating format. We thank former board member Abby Burd and our current Outreach co-chair Rachel Rabinor for hosting the first two groups. And lastly, the planning committee will be announcing details for our annual Meet and Greet soon. So stay tuned!
Thank you again for your continued interest and support of Postpartum Health Alliance.
Sincerely,
Gretchen Mallios, LCSW, MPP, RYT

Researchers recruit women for large study on postpartum depression
Researchers at the University of North Carolina are launching a large study on postpartum depression, using an iPhone app to recruit women in the hope of identifying genetic markers that indicate higher risk for the disorder. Read more about this landmark study here.
An Insurance Penalty From Postpartum Depression
