MESSAGE FROM MRS. ELLIOTT, CAMPUS PRINCIPAL
Greetings Scorpion Country! We wish you a beautiful weekend. What an amazing first 6 weeks of the 2nd 9 Weeks! Thank you all for the support and dedication to giving it the best you have! We continue with our countdown to Christmas Break!! Just five more days to make it count and finish Scorpion Strong!!! I have really enjoyed seeing our Scorpions participating in our Christmas coundtown activities. Continues to warms my heart!! Thank you for adding pictures on Twitter and tagging me @BSybert_PK8,! Scorpions have gone Merry! Very!!!!
We are currently at 23% hospitalization rate and on day 56 of being in the red zone. Please visit El Paso Strong Website at http://epstrong.org/schools.php for daily school updates. Our district will continue to monitor and refine our safety protocols across the district to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and protect our scholars and staff.

We are excited to see our scholars in action. Please have our scholars keep their cameras on; our teachers check for understanding, and it is very difficult for them to see if they need help if they can't see them. Thank you teachers for working so hard for our Scholars!! Ya'll ROCK!!!

This meeting is to help parents:
o Understand House Bill 5 (HB5) graduation requirements
o Understand graduation plans under HB5
o Learn about the five Endorsements under HB5
o Learn about your Students College and Career Readiness Plan/Texas Achievement Plan.

8th Grade College and Career Readiness Plan (CCRP)
Half of our 8th grade scholar have recently completed their High School required CCRP, or College and Career Readiness Plan with Mr. Alvarado in Entrepreneurship class. If they have not, don't worry, they will complete it in early January when they are in Mr. Alvarado's class for Entrepreneurship. All plans will be emailed to your scholars email within the next few weeks so please keep an eye out for it. Please review it and discuss it with your child.
You will then need to follow this link https://form.jotform.com/203428865716059 to electronically sign your scholar's CCRP. You may also scan the QR code below with your camera app on your cell phone and complete the form.
