PUMP Newsletter
MAY
Dear PUMP Parents,
Welcome to the merry month of May, where the sunshine paints smiles on our faces and the blossoming flowers fill the air with sweet scents of joy! As we embark on this delightful journey through May, our preschool is buzzing with excitement and endless opportunities for learning and growth. With each passing day, we witness the curiosity and creativity of our little ones blossom like the flowers in the springtime. May brings with it a sense of renewal and wonder, and we are thrilled to continue nurturing and inspiring our budding scholars as they explore, discover, and thrive in our loving and supportive community. Together, let's embrace the beauty of this season and cherish the precious moments we share in our preschool family. Happy May, and have a wonderful summer everyone!
Summer Camp Information
If your child napped during the school year, they will continue to nap during the summer program. If they bring a comfort object (lovey) for nap time, please ensure it remains at the facility for the entire week. For children who use pacifiers, kindly include it in their lunch box; it will be returned daily so it can be washed; once washed please place back in lunchbox (ie, send it daily).
All students are required to bring a refillable water bottle and a peanut-free lunch each day.
Additionally, a full-size backpack is required to accommodate a lunchbox, water bottle, and two sets of clothes (each set sealed in a labeled ziplock bag) is necessary. Students should also have a pair of backup shoes (closed-toe) stored in their backpack.
It is imperative that all items are labeled, as per legal requirements. Any unlabeled items will be labeled by the staff. Students must wear closed-toe shoes suitable for outdoor play; heels, sandals, flip flops, and boots are not permitted. Hair should be secured away from the face.
Outdoor activities are part of the daily routine; therefore, please apply sunscreen to your child before they arrive at the facility, as staff will not be applying it on-site.
For children still in diapers or pull-ups, please provide a week's supply along with a package of wipes, each individually labeled or initialed.
Morning drop-off for carpool begins at 8:45 AM. If you arrive after 9:00 AM, please utilize a parking spot and escort your child into the facility.
The school day concludes at 3:00 PM. Any child remaining on the premises after 3:01 PM will be transferred to extended care, and applicable charges will be incurred. Extended care is available from 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM (if using, please park and walk up on the WEST side) and from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Please utilize the Procare platform for communication regarding tardiness, absences, or any other relevant information.
Tuition fees are billed and processed every Tuesday. To cancel enrollment for a particular week, kindly notify us via Procare no later than the Thursday preceding the camp week to avoid charges.
Should you have any inquiries, please don't hesitate to reach out. Adherence to our summer camp policies and procedures is crucial for a successful experience, and failure to comply may result in enrollment cancellation.

Teacher Appreciation
As this school year draws to a close, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you. Your unwavering love, support, and dedication have been the bedrock of our school, sustaining us through both challenges and triumphs.
Beyond academics, your kindness and compassion have uplifted us in immeasurable ways. Whether through heartfelt messages, acts of generosity, or simply lending a listening ear, you have demonstrated the true spirit of collaboration and unity.
As we reflect on this year, we are reminded of the profound impact that a strong partnership between home and school can have on the lives of our students. Your commitment to their growth and well-being is truly remarkable, and we are honored to be a part of this journey alongside you. From the depths of our hearts, thank you for being the heartbeat of our school community. Your dedication and generosity have made this year one to remember, and we are immensely grateful for each and every one of you.
Pre-K Graduation
If your pre-k child won't be able to attend graduation, please inform us promptly.
The graduation ceremony is scheduled for May 14th at 9:30 am and typically lasts around 30 minutes.
Dress code: We ask that all students dress in their PUMP Mission Possible t-shirts or a solid gray t-shirt. For girls, please refrain from wearing bows, clips, headbands, etc. All graduates will be provided with caps and gowns, so there's no need for additional accessories. We kindly request no makeup to prevent staining on the graduation gowns. Additionally, please avoid heels, boots, flip-flops, etc., as students will be navigating stairs while wearing their gowns.
Drop-off: It is mandatory that all graduates arrive and be dropped off in the regular carpool drop-off between 8:25 and 8:45 am. This allows sufficient time for them to change into their robes. After dropping off your graduate, please park your vehicle and wait until carpool is complete before entering the building. We kindly ask that you refrain from escorting your child inside. You may enter the building at 8:45 am and wait in the lobby, where coffee will be provided. The ceremony will commence promptly at 9:30 am in the Sanctuary.
Following the ceremony, you can meet your graduate in the lobby for photos. Once you've captured those special moments, please return the caps and gowns to the designated bins labeled accordingly. All students should return to their classrooms by 10:15 am. If you plan to take your child home after the graduation, please notify an administrator so they can assist with the sign-out process.
