However, cricket and football are considered as the most popular sports in Bangladesh. Bangladesh achieved arguably their greatest heights in ODI cricket when they defeated three of the top-rated teams in 2015.

Bangladesh Geography

Bangladesh is located in South Asia and can be located on a map using the geographic coordinates of 24°N, 90°E. The country is very marshy as it is situated in a low-lying coastal area and experiences a lot of annual rainfall. Unfortunately, the country suffers from floods, cyclones, tornadoes and tidal bores on an annual basis. However the country also enjoys very fertile soil and an extensive network of rivers that is advantageous to agriculture. A normal day in Bangladesh

There aren't very many roads in Bangladesh and they usually aren't paved. The main forms of transportation are buses (often crowded), rickshas, and baby-taxis (three-wheeled motor scooters). For more private transportation, most people walk or ride bike, and taxis are expensive but safe. Rivers are used to transport people and goods throughout the country, and railroads are also important. Phones are mostly in urban areas, and cell phones are beginning to fill the gap in rural areas where there aren't any landlines. Televisions in homes are increasing, and most people have a radio

Climate in Banladesh

Bangladesh has a tropical monsoon-type climate, with a hot and rainy summer and a dry winter. January is the coolest month with temperatures averaging near 26 deg C (78 d F) and April the warmest with temperatures from 33 to 36 deg C (91 to 96 deg F). Most rains occur during the monsoon (June-September) and little in winter (November-February).
