About Walker Elementary

Dear Walker Families,
Next week our kindergarten and first-grade English Language Learners will take the state language assessment, English Language Proficiency Assessment for the 21st Century (ELPA 21). If your child is taking this assessment, please make sure they get to bed early and eat a good breakfast. On Monday, February 10th at 6:00 pm we will have a PTA meeting and the second-grade students will have a program. Second-grade students will need to be at school at 5:30 pm in the music room to prepare for this program. The Valentine's day parties for all students will be at 1:45 pm on February 14th. We hope that you will be able to join your child at school for the party.
Our new playground has been installed at Walker. We are so thankful to the Blue & You Foundation for providing us with the grant for this playground. Thank you, Davis Playgrounds and Burke, for your work to bring this playground to us as well. We are so excited to have a new piece of equipment for students to play on.
Thank you for your partnership,
Mrs. Lynn Ryan, Principal, lryan@sdale.org
Mrs. Carrie Farris, Assistant Principal, cfarris@sdale.org
