An important notice for SU clubs

What are the steps for my club to go abroad?

Give yourself about 6 months to plan for your trip. While it seems like a lot of time, it will go quickly!

After you've registered as a club with Student Activities, you'll need to contact the Director, Bernie Liang, to notify him that your club plans on leaving. He will send you the form that starts the process. From there, you will need to work with the Education Abroad office to ensure you've followed the University's procedures for travel.

Important Update: Travel with SU professor and/or staff

Starting this year, an SU staff or faculty member will need to travel with the club to their destination. This is ensure that the University has a representative in case of emergency, breaking the Student Code of Conduct, and/or other issues that would jeopardize the trip. For questions, concerns, or to request an exception, contact Bernie Liang at
