Family Focus

This year we are taking more of a family focused approach to homework. We believe that spending quality family time is vital in the success of your student. We will provide family friendly, engaging homework activities and assignments. We would love if you would send us pictures of these activities and share them with us.

This week we are working on Standard Algorithm- ( Which is the way that you and I were taught as kids to add and subtract- the "Traditional way'") Please work with your student on some example problems each day to help with them grasping the concept and becoming more fluent with it.

ELAR: We will discuss Character traits (external and internal) as well as discuss r- controlled syllables.

Math: We will discuss and practice using standard algorithm with 2 digit and 3 digit numbers.

Social Studies: We will discuss ways that people have adapted to the physical environment.

Science: We will discuss the weather.
