Cafeteria News

Payment is accepted by cash or check delivered to the Cafeteria Manager or by credit card at the MySchoolBucks website accessed from the district homepage. When using myschoolbucks.com, you can make an online deposit (for a small fee); it will not appear until the next day.

Texas Public School Nutrition Policy- Rose Garden Elementary is required to follow the Texas Public School Nutrition Policy with regards to Foods of Minimum Nutritional Value (FMNV) and competitive foods that may be served during the instructional day. This means parents may not bring food or drinks to school for anyone other than their own children. This includes lunches and snacks. Birthday treats are exempt but may not be distributed until after lunch and not in the cafeteria while meals are served. Birthday treats must be coordinated 24 hours in advance with the classroom teacher. All Birthday treats must be store bought and have an ingredient list attached.

Extra Food: Students are allowed to purchase extra food if they have enough money in their account and a note from home. This is something you will need to discuss with your child and/or cafeteria manager.

Students will be limited to three charges: When $7.00 worth of charges are accumulated, students will be fed an alternate meal of a sandwich and milk at a cost of .70cents.

You may check your child’s balance by calling the cafeteria from 6:00 am to 1:30 pm at 210-619-4359 or by visiting myschoolbucks.com.
