Staff Update: January 8th, 2014
Nuevas Fronteras and Crestview Elementary Schools
Kudos and Celebrations!
- Welcome back, Mark Haesly! Glad to have you back with us!
- A huge high-five to the Sunshine Committees from both schools for planning and hosting the holiday party--it was lots of fun, and the door prizes were fabulous!
- Thanks to Linnea Gamache and Kate Fenske for facilitating the Crestview Book giveaway before break. Every Crestview student went home with a new book to read!
- Kudos to Colleen Burns and Erin Polta on their awesome Tech websites- check them out if you haven't yet!
- Muchísimas Gracias to Lori Wamstad for building (and re-building) our MAP testing schedule. She is a genius!
- Happy Birthday to Megan Kochmann (1/4), Theresa Upzen (1/4) (cashier), Joe Hillyer (1/14) and Deb Schurmeier (1/14)!

Labels for Education!
During the month of January we are going to strive to collect as many Labels for Education as we can. Please clip the entire label (including the UPC)! Labels should be placed in a plastic bag and labeled with the student's teacher! The classroom that collects the most labels by January 31 will win a popcorn party sponsored by the Labels for Education committee of the PTSO! Good luck and happy collecting! contact Michelle Rundquist with questions at mandmrundquist@msn.com.

Want to add something to this staff update?
The staff update will typically come out on via email on Thursday or Friday each week. If you have an item that you would like to include in this bulletin, please email it to Tina by Wednesday noon, and we’ll do our best to add it to the bulletin. Let’s work together to use this bulletin as our primary method for making all-school announcements, and hopefully by distributing information in one central way, we can decrease the number of emails that we all receive.
