Student Safety & Communication

Lago Vista ISD is committed to effective, two-way communication regarding student safety. In the event of a validated threat to student safety or other emergency, our District and campuses work together to quickly notify parents/guardians through our District messaging service.

In order to ensure that you receive these crucial notifications, please log into txConnect Parent Portal to verify/update the contact information for your student. We ask our parents to do this each year for each student. The information provided in txConnect is what we use to contact you, so it is very important that all information provided is correct and up-to-date. For more information on how to access txConnect Parent Portal and update information, please visit: http://www.lagovistaisd.net/page/new_registration

Grades!

As we go past the first progress report, it's amazing how fast a school year goes! The end of the first 6 weeks is September 27th, and the biggest adjustment for 7th graders is that they can lose eligibilty for football, cross country, volleyball or marching band if they have failing grades.

Don't wait until it's too late! If you need access to TxConnect, please email Sue Kunze(Sue_Kunze@lagovista.txed.net) for a Portal ID. If you need tech support, please email Monica Kaiser(Monica_Kaiser@lagovista.txed.net).

PSAT Coming Up!
