Volunteer Crossing Guards

Hello Families!

7th Grade Personal Health and Wellness Presentations

All Delta County School District 7th grade students will be given the opportunity to participate in a Physical and Personal Wellness presentation. This presentation is given at each school individually. The PK8 presentation will be provided by Amy Hafer. Jim Frazier will also be in the room.

Opt-out forms have been sent home. If you need a opt-out form, please see the front office.

The presentation will be on April 7 in one class period. If everything is not covered, then the presentation will continue to the following day.

Safety Training on Thursday, April 7

We will have an A.L.I.C.E. Training on Lockdown. Students will learn about the step of Lockdown.

Paonia K-8 School will continue to utilize A.L.I.C.E. training for our school safety training.

We are now on our third A.L.I.C.E. training. These trainings are informational sessions focused on educating students of the different processes of Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, and Evacuate. The teachers will be educating students of each of the elements of A.L.I.C.E.

April 7th is our Lockdown Training. During this session, students will be age-appropriately educated on the elements of Lockdown.

Seed Kit Distribution for Families Who Signed Up with Farm-to-School

Depending on what you chose, some of you will receive just an envelope with seeds, others will get seeds, a container, and a bag of soil. You can pick up your seed kits in the front office on Monday, April 11th.

Farm to School Summer Camp Early-Bird Registration will be open online April 4th-11th and will feature discounted prices! Camps happen once a week from 8:30am-12pm during the summer and are open to K-6th students.
