"When i Made that Decision"
Rosa Parks
a SPONTANEOUS Action
on December 1, 1955 Rosa Parks was riding a bus to go home after she got out of work. She was sitting towards the middle and when the bus had gotten full a white man got on and since the bus driver was practicing the standard of segregation he told all 4 African Americans to give up their seats so the white man could sit there. Though, Rosa Parks was an active member of the NAACP( National Association of the Advancment of the Colored People.) so she did not give up her seat to the white man and got arrested.
Economic
An effect of the action that Rosa Parks did caused a Boycott. The Montgomery Improvement Association were the ones that organized the boycott. As their leader they chose Martin Luther King Jr. He was sparked by her action and so the boycott lasted 381 days. In December 1956 the U.S Supreme Court ruled that the segregation law was unconstitutional.
Social
Rosa Park's action gave a social threat to the white rule in the city. this was a problem to the white people because they were afraid that the African Americans would fight and become even stronger with the action of Rosa Parks.
