What does a dystopia look like?
- A dystopia is an awful place that takes place in the future. Most citizens are oblivious to what they're living conditions are
- People are dehumanized
- Their leaders have brought fear upon their citizens
Types of Dystopian controls
- totalitarianism is a type of government that could potentially create a dystopian society
- There is also Corporate control, in which one or more large corporations control society.
- One that could have a huge impact on how society is controlled is religion, Throughout history, more people have died because of religious believes.
Adolf Hitler
He tried to make a perfect society, One of the many reasons he would kill Jews was because he wanted to make a "superior" race and to his eye Jewish people weren't qualified.
Joseph Stalin
Stalin lived to be a dictator of Russia, He attempted to make a perfect world by making himself the leader. He thought he could rule the world in a perfect way. He even quoted
"Death solves all problems, no man,no problem" eliminating anyone who didn't agree with him, would solve problems and never interfere with his "perfect society"
Napoleon Bonaparte
One of the most famous people to attempt to make a perfect society is Napoleon. Not only did he take over most of Europe but he thought that the whole world should be under his command. He thought himself as someone who can make a perfect world under his command
