Southwest Parke Community Schools

Why eLearning? 8 Reasons It's Worth Pursuing

School Computer Lab Use

Students who do not have access to a device or an internet connection outside of school may take advantage of our computer labs. Pre-arrangements are necessary for lab use to allow us to have adequate meal and supervision coverage. Sign-up forms are due by February 5. Students who do not return this signed form by Feb. 5 will NOT be allowed to attend.

Students can also find internet access at public libraries, the homes of friends and relatives, as well as many restaurants.

Access Lessons

Students will receive their lesson links and materials from their teachers by email, Google Classroom, Clever, and/or informational paper sent home on February 12.

Elementary students will have 3 lessons to complete:

  • English/Language Arts/Reading (ELA)
  • Math
  • Specials (one of PE, Art, Music, or Library)

Riverton Parke students will have one lesson for each block missed on our eLearning day (4)

If you have any trouble finding or accessing your lessons, please contact the help center.

Office Hours

During eLearning week, teachers will hold office hours for live help on lessons on Friday, February 14 from 8:10-9:00 and from 2:00-2:30. Parents or students may expect quick email replies from teachers during these windows or may call Riverton Parke at 569-2045 and ask for the teacher.

Outside of office hours, parents may call the respective school buildings or email teachers. Responses will be timely, but may not be immediate.
