4th Grade Safeties are doing a great job!
Our 4th Grade safeties have been doing a great job this year. The safeties help our K-1 students get on and off the correct bus in a safe manner. They keep the students focused and this contributes immensely to a smooth arrival and dismissal. Periodically Ms. Shaw will meet with the safeties at their lunch to discuss how to continually improve their duties. Thank you to Safeties!

From the School Counselor
Have you been outside lately and noticed the lantern flies? They seem to create a range of emotions with children from curiosity to fear. Curiosity is that natural wonder that children have that leads them to want to know more. When children don’t know anything about something to can lead to feelings of confusion or fear. You can help your child eliminate fears by observing our world and talking about what they see and hear then how they feel about it. When there are things that you are uncertain how to teach them, technology can help with some quick, kid-friendly research. Together you may unravel some mysteries of the universe.
