October 24 - 28 is Red Ribbon Week! Be sure to check communications from your child's school - they may be holding a Spirit Week!
C3 Resource Fair on October 26
Join us for our annual C3 Resource Fair Event! Vendors will be set up at O.T. Bonner Middle School on October 26 from 4 - 7 p.m. This event is organized by our Office for Exceptional Children to provide resources to students with disabilities of all levels to enable them to reach their postsecondary goals. We hope to see you there!

Numbers and Nachos Night at Woodberry
This week, more than 150 people were in attendance at Woodberry's Numbers and Nachos night. Students engaged in math activities, received quarter one awards, and enjoyed nachos!

On Oct. 29, GW is playing Magna Vista for Homecoming at Averett University's North Campus. Grab your tickets ahead of time on GoFan, and hurry, space is limited! We strongly recommend bringing lawn chairs, as stands fill up quickly!

Pass the Perspective with the Danville Police Department
The Danville Police Department is hosting Pass the Perspective on November 8, 2022, at 5 p.m. This program is designed for our middle school youth to gain the inside perspective on police work as well as openly share their thoughts on police officers and ways we can better serve the community and our youth. Also, the students will be able to participate in MILO (an interactive video training system) to go through the actual process our police officers utilize during their training. - On Saturday, October 22, DPS will have tables set up at the Bridge Street Food Truck Rodeo from 12 - 6 p.m. Come see us!
- The GW Middle School Football Team remains undefeated! This week, they defeated Fieldale Collinsville 44-0. Congratulations, team!
