Veterans Day We were fortunate to have four amazing Veterans Day assemblies last week. This allowed us to keep the groups small. Several of the students volunteered to be readers for the assembly. A huge thank you to Mr. Farley and Mr. Weeden for organizing these assemblies to honor our Veterans. | Military Career Fair Day On Friday, we welcomed different branches of the military to the middle school for a military career fair day! Representatives from the Air National Guard, Army, Coast Guard, and the Marines. Each class rotated through an information session and students were able to ask questions about careers in the military. | Veterans Day Assembly - Student Readers |

Military Career Fair Day
This week was the start of the second marking period for students in 7th and 8th grade. Some students may have had some schedule changes to accomodate AIS services. 7/8 grade report cards will be mailed home this week. If your child is struggling, please make sure that they are taking advantage of after school opportunities. 5-8 grade teachers are after school a minimum of two days each week to help students. Middle school students can take the 3:20 bus home if they stay after.
5/6 grade report cards will be mailed out on 12/10. 5/6 grades are on trimesters, while 7/8 grade students are on quarters.
Now that we are back in school, it is imperative that your child attends school every day and that they are on time! Please read the attached article for helpful strategies to improve your child's attendance. https://www.attendanceworks.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/MiddleHigh_handout_101321.pdf
