Message From The Principal

Hello Eagle families,

As we wrap up January, we are focused on the road ahead. Our seniors are four months away from graduation and turning the page to the next chapter of their lives. This can be a scary time for most students. The uncertainty of what that next chapter includes can increase anxiety and abnormal behaviors. Its not that different from leaving 5th grade to attend middle school or promoting from 8th grade to attend high school.

We believe it is equally important for students to earn their diplomas and to develop a post graduation plan. Our hope is to help students find their purpose and then map the path to getting there. Typically this includes one of the following options:

  1. joining the workforce,
  2. attending trade school,
  3. attending community college. or
  4. joining the military.

Think different. Be different.

February is Black History Month

Black History Month is an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing their central role in U.S. history. Also known as African American History Month. Since 1976, every U.S. president has officially designated the month of February as Black History Month. Other countries around the world, including Canada and the United Kingdom, also devote a month to celebrating Black history.

February 1st 2022

2022's Lunar New Year (Feb. 1) brings the Year of the Tiger, third in the 12-animal Chinese zodiac cycle. Tigers were born in 2010, 1998, 1986, 1974, 1962, 1950 and so on. According to superstition, a person born in a particular year takes on the traits of that year's animal.
