5th grade Band and Strings Program at LES

There will be a very important flyer coming home on September 3rd in your student's Tuesday folders. The flyers explains the band and strings classes for interested 5th graders. If

your student is planning on being a member of band or strings this school year, a parent or guardian MUST attend our orientation meeting. The orientation meeting for BAND is on Tuesday,

September 10, 2019 at 6:00 pm in the Art Room. Parents and students can enter through

the courtyard side door in the front of the school. The orientation meeting for STRINGS
is on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 7:00 am. Parents and students can enter through the front entrance, sign in and come down to the music room. If you have a conflict with either of these orientation meetings, please contact Mrs. Williams at krhyner@lexington1.net or 803-821-4076

Calling all wonderful 4th and 5th grade singers!

Mrs. Williams is looking for Cats Choir members for the 2019-2020 school year. Our first rehearsal will be Thursday, September 5th at 7:00 AM in Mrs. Williams’s music room. If your student is planning on being a member of Cats Choir this school year, they MUST attend this rehearsal on time. They will also need to bring all the completed forms to this first rehearsal. Run Hard After School Program

Does your child love to run? Run Hard is an after school program that meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm. It's for boys and girls in 2nd - 5th grade. Registration is currently open through Friday, Sept 6. Spots are limited. All participants must register online at www.runhard.org. Run Hard teaches students about running, healthy lifestyle choices, and decision-making skills. It will be a great season!

Students are fully engaged in their learning at LES!
