Field Trips, Festivities and Finishing Strong
Next, tis the season for Field Trips. Please remember a few things:
- Field Trips are an educational extension, and therefore all students are supposed to attend.
- Please remember to notify the cafeteria and specials teachers if your class or grade will be gone.
- If a student is unable to attend due to financial reasons please let me know.
If you have a social media account of any kind you are likely to see Prom pictures and preparations for graduation. It's a nice reminder of the journey our students are on. We reflect on the Then & Now and we are often reminded of the young man or young lady we knew in elementary school. I can't help but reminisce when I see pictures. I remember those days with positive memories.
With nearly a month remaining this is the time that we begin to reach for the finish line. I hope you will focus on thriving till the end, rather than surviving the year. Just last week Mrs. Cryderman and I had a nice chat about her wishing she had more time with her students. I left the conversation feeling a strong sense that she would utilize every moment. Personally, I'm thankful for this mentality!
How will you maximize your remaining time?
