It was great to see all of our students and families back in the building over the past few days. The staff fed off the energy that you all bring to us!
Below are a few IMPORTANT details for our families:

- Download the PikMyKid app. Everyone needs this.
- Expect delays in dismissal procedures and busses for the first week or two.

Arrival & Dismissal Information
Doors will open at 8:35 am. Students who arrive by bus, will enter the building through the grade level wings. Students that come through the car line will enter through the playground doors. Walkers may enter through the grade level wings, main entrance, or the recess doors.
****For at least the first week, all Kindergarten students will enter through the exterior gym doors located across from the playground blacktop. This is so we can get all of them to their classrooms safely.
All children who are late to school after 8:45 a.m. will need to sign in at the office using the Welcome Window.
Morning Carline Drop Off:
The Dressel gates will open at 8:30 for car riders to enter and drive around the back of school. Staff will be there to greet students and direct vehicles. Please pull around to the recess doors and have your student(s) ready to exit the vehicle.
We ask that all caregivers download the PikMyKid app, see the information below. This app allows you to check in and adds your child's name to our list. We also have a staff member outside to assist in this checking-in process. Caregivers that pick up will enter through the parking lot's main entrance and continue through the gate to around back. The gates will open at 3:20.
If your student is a Carline pick-up student, they will wait in the gym until their name is called. Caregivers do not get out of the car. We will have staff members walk your children out and to the cars after the car line stops moving.
If your student(s) plans to walk to school or ride a bike, please complete this form. It MUST be on file for Dressel to release your student through this line. We will also ID adults who are picking students up to ensure everyone's safety. Please come prepared.
*This process is slower the first few days as our youngest students learn the routine! Buses may also run late as they continue to learn their routes. We ask that you please be patient and not call the main office. We will send out notifications in the first few days to update families when buses leave the lot.
Car Riders and walkers will be dismissed at approximately 3:35 pm.
Bus riders will be walked to the bus by staff and be dismissed around 3:45.
Dressel uses the free PikMyKid platform to improve the safety and efficiency of our pick-up process. Families will need to download the PikMyKid app on their cell phones. This free app can be found in the app store and will allow you to notify the school of pick-up changes, authorize others to pick-up your child from school, alert you when your child has been picked up or sent home on the bus, as well as help organize the car line during pick-up.
The registration process is easy. If you have not done so already, we ask that all families register with the phone application as soon as possible. Please make sure you register with your personal current mobile phone number or the app will not allow you to access your child’s information for security reasons.
If you do not think the school has your mobile number on file or if your child does not appear on your app’s home page, contact email@example.com after registration, with your child’s name, school, grade, and updated contact information for you.
Anyone who will be picking up your child should also register themselves with the application. Their screen will be blank and they will not have any authorization until you allow it within the app.
Nurse Notes - Stacy Hartly
Any physicals, notes from specialists, doctor orders for treatments or medications should be submitted prior to the first day of school along with any action plans as applicable. All medications necessary at school must be delivered to the nurse by an adult (not brought in with a student) and accompanied with a note from your child's health care provider.
If your child has a chronic health condition (Food Allergies, Asthma, Diabetes, ADHD, heart condition etc..), please contact me to discuss, to ensure the health and safety of your child during the school day.
If you have not already completed the annual health form, please do so in your child's Infinite Campus Portal account on the Lindbergh website.

Lindbergh District News
Student bus stop assignments, and pickup and drop-off times, will be available in the Infinite Campus Portal on Aug. 16.
To view bus route information in the Infinite Campus Portal, click “More” in the left menu, then click “Transportation” in the middle of the page.
NOTE: The deadline to guarantee bus service for the first week of school has passed. Families who have not signed up for bus service can still do so by completing the annual verification process. Once this process is complete, student bus information will be processed and made available on the Infinite Campus Portal as soon as possible. We recommend that parents check back often for updates.
Check Pickup, Drop-Off Times
Families should check pickup and drop-off times frequently during the first few weeks of school, since routes are subject to change as student enrollment continues. Please allow 10 minutes before and after your scheduled pickup time to account for traffic and other delays.
If You Do Not Have Bus Stop Information
If you do not have bus stop information it could be due to one of the following reasons:
Your student’s annual verification forms were not completed in Infinite Campus.
You selected "no transportation services needed" when you completed your forms.
Your student receives transportation from St. Louis Special School District (SSD).
Your family resides within a half mile of your elementary school or one mile from your secondary school and walking conditions are determined to be safe for students.
If you do not see bus stop information in the portal, please plan to transport your student until you see your bus stop information in Infinite Campus.
In partnership with First Student, Lindbergh Schools uses the FirstView app to communicate bus information with families in real time, including your student’s pickup and drop-off times, and any delays or notifications. For complete details about the app and how to download it visit our website at go.lindberghschools.ws/transportation. You will need your student's State ID to set up your account. The ID number can be found in Infinite Campus. The State ID is right under your student's picture. If you have multiple students, you will need to click on your student’s picture to see the State ID number.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance with your transportation needs. Please include your student’s first and last name and your home address.

If you have a student in grades 4-12, please watch your email for a message from Lindbergh Schools Technology Department regarding enrolling in Technology Accident and Loss Protection.
As a district, we will help students learn how to protect their devices. However, we are realistic that accidents happen. To protect families from costly repairs or loss, Lindbergh Schools offers accident and loss protection for our schools’ blended learning devices for students in grades 4-12 who take devices home.
Please review the Blended Learning Technology Handbook for more details.
Students who have not enrolled annually in our accident and loss protection plan will be charged the full cost of repairs or loss.
REMINDER: All Families Must Complete Annual Verification of Student Information
REMINDER: All Families Must Complete Annual Verification of Student Information
Completing your student’s required paperwork through the Annual Verification process each summer helps us prepare for a successful start to the school year.
Each year, our district requires Annual Verification of information to be completed for all new and returning students. This helps us guarantee bus transportation, confirm contact information, assign teachers and finalize student schedules, learn about your student’s health needs, and make sure meal accounts are set up and ready to go.
If you have not received a link or have been unable to register on the Infinite Campus Portal, please contact your student’s school office for assistance.
