A Physical Change is a change from one state (solid,liquid, or gas) to another without a change in chemical composition. It is reversible

Examples of a Physical Change

  • Foil gets cut in half
  • Butter melts in warm toast
  • A juice box freezes in the freezer

What is a Chemical Change?

A Chemical Change is something that cannot go back to it's original state.
