CISL - Library Partnership for Points!
Mrs. Moulen has created a survey is to gather information about events the library can offer to support the CISL program and students who need points to meet CISL requirements.

FRIDAY April 20 is the last day to submit a completed Conference lunch refund request! (forms available outside CISL office for pickup)
SENIORS!
Consideration forms for CISL scholarships are now available on the CISL webpage or outside the CISL office. Forms are due to Mrs. Campagna no later than May 1st.

CISL Booster Officer Elections will take place at the May 7th meeting (CORRECTED DATE)
Nominations are being accepted for all positions. Please feel free to nominate yourself or someone else. When nominating someone else, please be sure to contact them first to ensure they are willing to hold the position. If you would like to submit a nomination or have any questions regarding the positions, feel free to contact Booster President, Amy Black sprudel1994@gmail.com
President - Facilitate booster meetings, acct as booster-liaison to CISL Coordinator, organize booster volunteers for CISL-sponsored events.
Vice President - Coordinate activities of subcommittees for Membership, Spirit Wear, Fundraising and Scholarship
Treasurer- Handle all financial activities related to CISL Boosters including fundraising events, membership fees, event registration, invoice payment and reconciliation of accounts. This is a minimum two-year commitment. The treasure-elect will shadow the current treasurer (Cari Bohley) for the remainder of the 2017-18 school year/summer and will take over as Treasurer for the 2018-2019 school year.
Secretary - Responsible for documenting and distributing meeting minutes.
Membership Subcommittee Chairperson - Promote CISL Booster membership and maintain member contact information.
Spirit Wear Subcommittee Chairperson - Coordinate all activities related to design, purchase and sale of spirit wear items (tshirts, sweatshirts, etc.)
Fundraising Subcommittee Chairperson - Coordinate all activities related to fund raising activities including selection, schedule, communication, ordering and delivery.
Sophomore Parent Representatives (2-3)
Junior Parent Representatives (2-3)
Senior Parent Representatives (2-3)
Freshman Parent Representatives and Scholarship Committee Chair and members will be elected at the beginning of the 2018-19 school year.

Around the World Embassy Tour Returns May 5, 2018
More than 40 embassies will open their doors to DC visitors and residents Saturday, May 5, 2018. Participants can travel the world as they experience the food, art, dance, fashion, and music of different countries. In the past, visitors have been treated to karate demonstrations, dance performances, sari wrapping lessons, and henna demonstrations.
