Movie Review
The Express
By Blake Forsythe
The Express is a dramatic movie, and there is a lot of sports in it too. The main characters are Rob Brown as Ernie Davis, Dennis Quaid as Ben Schwartzwalder (Syracuse football coach), Charles S. Dutton as Willie ‘Pops’ Davis (Ernie’s grandpa), and Nicole Beharie as Sarah Ward (Ernie’s girlfriend). This movie is about an African American named Ernie who grew up in a tough environment when the colored people were treated badly. But he rose to the challenge and fought segregation and had a very successful life. He played at running back for Syracuse and won the Heisman trophy. He then went straight to the NFL and was drafted to the Cleveland Browns, and that was tough for an African American man to do back then. Later he starts fighting a disease called Leukemia and dies because of it at age 23. Isn’t that sad? The Movie takes place from 1939 to 1963. It was made in 2008. The moral of the story is that if you believe you can fight anything, even segregation. This movie is rated PG. I like this movie because it inspired me to be a better football player, and to work harder.By Blake Forsythe
Nursery Rhyme
One day, five monkeys were jumping on the trampoline. Their names were Peter, George, Sally, Bob, and Ally. Five minutes later there was an earthquake and Peter fell off. Mama called the doctor and the doctor said, "No more monkeys jumping on the trampoline!" Then the earthquake bumped over the trampoline net and into the pool. So mama called the doctor and the doctor said, "No more monkeys are alive!"

Homework Debate
I think homework should be eliminated for many reasons. First of all, if you do it in class and take the time to do it, you'll get it right the first time. It also takes away time for sports. You also can't be as active when you have homework all the time. It takes away family time so you can't hang out with your family a whole lot or your friends. Last of all, it's just a waste of time.

Favorite Game
Madden NFL 25 is my favorite game. It is a professional football game that is celebrating 25 years of Madden football for gaming systems. You can play online with other people or with friends, and it has all the newest players from the NFL draft. You can also play franchise and be a player, coach, or owner. There is also a thing called ultimate team where you collect cards and play with those players too! You can also play online on ultimate team. You can also earn trophies on Madden NFL 25. My goal is to beat every online player on that game.
