Wishing Well Wednesday
You've Probably Seen This, But....
Table Top Discussion
Your campus is hosting an event and numerous visitors are on campus. You are busy moving from place to place. As you walk across a hallway, you see a parent leaving through a rear door. As the visiting parent exits, a woman in her middle 20s enters through the same door.
You did not recognize the female entering the building and you immediately become concerned because she bypassed the main entrance. The woman went directly to a classroom that was filled with students.
You proceed to walk closer to the classroom. As you gain view of the classroom, you see the woman pull out a 9mm hand gun and she starts to scream at the teacher. Based on what she is yelling, you learn she is the wife of a substitute teacher. (Her husband had told her the evening before that he was going to file for divorce and request custody of their child.)
What will you do first? Why?
What is your first concern in this situation?
What special concerns should you have?
For what contingencies must you plan?

Section 2-What is stored inside the safe
1 can of pepper gel.
1 yellow safety vest.
Section 3-Training related to items stored inside the safe
I am attaching a PPP to this email with information about pepper gel (how to use it in the event of an emergency and guidelines regarding its use). If further clarification or guidance is needed please let me know.
The vests inside the safe can be used to identify staff members during emergent events.
