ID Badge Violations and Tardy Gate Consequences

Students, remember that you must wear your badge each day. Not wearing your badge will result in consequences. The consequences are as follows:


1st & 2nd Tardy/Badge Warning

3rd Tardy/Badge Lunch Detention (30 minutes during lunch)

4th & 5th Tardy/Badge C-hall (Tuesdays 7:15-8:15 OR Wednesdays 3:40-4:40)

6th & 7th Tardy/Badge Thursday Night Reflection (Thursdays 3:40-4:40)

8th & Beyond Office Referral

Clarkapalooza Eligibility

We are excited to announce that Clark MS will have Clarkapalooza in May 2019 to reward our hardworking students with an afternoon of fun and games! Clarkapalooza is an academic and behavioral incentive for the students, but in order to be eligible to attend, students must meet the following criteria beginning January 8, 2019:


  • No Failing grades (Below a 70 in any class)
  • No Thursday Night Reflection (TNR)
  • No In School Suspension (ISS)
  • No Out of School Suspension (OSS)
  • No DAEP (Alternative School)

Girls Track Informational Meeting

Attention 7th and 8th grade girls NOT in athletics. If you are interested in trying out for track there will be an informational meeting next Tuesday (1/15) after school at 3:45pm and Wednesday (1/16) before school at 7:55am in Mrs. Jerden's room (409).

Cougar PRIDE Store

Our first PRIDE store was a huge success! Thanks to our wonderful parent and staff volunteers, students were able to spend their Dojo points for nice rewards. Our next PRIDE store will be held January 28th – 30th (7th grade on 1/28, 8th grade on 1/29 and 6th grade on 1/30).

Geography Bee

Tuesday, January 8th, Clark students competed in our school geography bee. Congratulations to Dylan Lacy (3rd place), Ronin Austin (2nd place) and Abhijit Jannapureddy (1st place)! Abhijit will take a written test to qualify for the state geography bee.

Incoming 6th Grade Information Night

Attention incoming 6th graders! Clark MS will be hosting their annual “Rising 6th Grade” information night on Thursday, Feb. 7th from 6-7 PM. This informational meeting will be held in the Clark Cafeteria. If you have an incoming sixth grader, this night is for you! This meeting is for parents only. Our staff will be meeting with 5th graders at their individual campuses for registration.

6th Grade Aim For Success

Attention parents of 6th grade students: Each year, Frisco ISD partners with 'Aim for Success’ to present information on “helping young people make healthy choices that will give them freedom to reach their dreams and goals.” Students will see the presentation on January 18, 2019, during their Study Skills class. Below you will find information on the opt out form for the student presentation if you don’t want your 6th grader to hear the presentation. Please return these opt out forms no later than January 16, 2019, to your child’s Cougar Den teacher.

End of First Semester

The 3rd Six Weeks and the first semester grading period ended Friday, December 21st. As you check your child's grades, please use this breakdown for grades:


A= 90+

B=80-89

C=70-79

F=69 and below


Please note that physical reports cards will not come home; final grades for the marking period and semester may be viewed online in the Home Access Center (HAC).

Athletic Games Attendance Policy

Students who failed one or more classes on the latest marking period report WILL NOT be admitted to athletic games. Students who are failing classes should be at home working on studying and getting their grades up to passing standards.
