4A Stunt Champions, top spot at All-State

GHS Cheerleaders are Stunt Champions!
Congratulations to the Gladstone High School varsity cheerleading team who
competed at the annual All-State competition. They held onto the title of 4A Stunt Champions and also competed many other great stunt performances as well! Senior Grace Christiansen made the All-State team as well as freshman Riley Winfrey, who won a $500 talent scholarship! Congratulations team!
COVID boosters & vaccines at Gladstone High
Gladstone High School will host several free vaccination clinics open to the community because health officials say vaccines are the best way to prevent serious illness, hospitalization, and death from COVID-19. Vaccinated students exposed to COVID-19 but without symptoms will NOT miss school or face quarantine.
All clinics are on Wednesdays from 4 to 7 p.m. at Gladstone High, 18800 Portland Ave. Enter via the Athletic Entrance on the right. Those coming for boosters should bring their vaccine card.

More GHS clinics are planned on December 1 and December 8, details coming soon. Both will offer a full slate of vaccine and booster options for ages 5+. If you need an appointment sooner, ask your medical provider or a local pharmacy.

Who's eligible for boosters? Fully vaccinated folks who are at least 6 months past their second Pfizer/Moderna dose or 2 months past J&J and fit any of these categories:
• age 65+
• resident of long-term care facilities
• age 18-64 with underlying medical conditions [ask your doctor]
• people age 18-64 at higher risk of workplace exposure:
- First responders (e.g., healthcare workers, firefighters, police, congregate care staff)
- Education staff (e.g., teachers, support staff, daycare workers)
- Food and agriculture workers
- Manufacturing workers
- Corrections workers
- U.S. Postal Service workers
- Public transit workers
- Grocery workers
Gladstone High to stage mystery
The play, by Michelle Giles, tells the story of red-eye travelers on the westbound 518, who are in for a surprise when first one passenger, and then another, mysteriously drop dead right before their eyes.
Performances will be at 7 p.m. on November 12 and 13 in the auditorium at Gladstone High School. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students, children, and seniors.Only 250 tickets will be sold for each show. They can be purchased here: https://www.showtix4u.com/event-details/58616
