Early life and childhood of George Eastman.
George Eastman was born on July 12,1854. He was born in Waterville , New York. His father George W. Eastman ran a buisness college in Rochester , New York. The mother Maria Kilbourn ,took care of young George and his two sisters. George's dad died when young George was seven , two years after the family moved to Rochester. George out of his entire life never got married. Even though George surrounded himself with him, he never purposed to a woman. Since George was never married he never had any kids. Unfortunately George died when he was 73 years old. He lived from 1854 to 1932. He died because he commited suicide.

George Eastman was most known for being the founder of the "Kodak" camera company. He was also known for being as heralded (publicly announced) as his father of popular photography and was the inventor of the "motion-picture film". George Eastman helped the people of our country because he made photography life easier. He made it easier for us because cameras back then were expensive , so he made a inexpensive camera and takes better photos then the expensive camera. Also it didn't take as much time to take pictures as the expensive camera , he named it the "brownie". George never gave up his dream. He wanted to keep the tradition going even when he died. Today they still have the "Kodak" company. Even though George started his buisness career when h was 14 years old he went from something small to something big. Today his legacy still lives on. So , that means if you put your mind to something you can do it.
