From the Desk of...
"As our Social Studies department has worked to unwrap the Inquiry Standards as part of the Iowa Core, the focus has included locating and integrating quality resources that are placed in front of their students as they begin to identify what makes a source credible. I have introduced many students to FreedomFlix to help get this process started. Not only does it have a book and video for many of the topics they study, it also has tabs to explore more about each topic and a list of credible resources to extend learning even further. Dare to Lead
This is the ultimate playbook for developing brave leaders and courageous cultures. Daring leadership is a collection of four skill sets that are 100% teachable. It's learning and practice that requires brave work, tough conversations, and showing up with our whole hearts.
Thrive
We need great schools that provide great learning to not only survive, but thrive. There is great news. We know how to deal with these evolutionary pressures. We know how to not only survive, but thrive when competition forces or allows us to change. This book translates that knowledge into the language of how schools actually work and how educators actually approach their critical jobs.
