We will study geography beginning with longitude & latitude, global location before studying geographical features of Wisconsin.
LMC - Library
Fourth graders are West Middleton’s library experts; we’re focusing on locating items throughout the library and expanding our understanding of the wealth of items available for checkout. We’re revisiting favorite books and authors, and we’re introducing new ones.
Music
Technology
Students are reviewing proper keyboarding technique by working through specific lessons at their own pace. Each student has their own account online through Typing Club to complete typing lessons. https://mcpasd.typingclub.com/
Art
Why do people make art? Why is art important? How do art and math connect? How do artists use depth? (Express Yourself! Self Portraits, Op Art)
PE
We are training for the Wolverine Dash! We are also starting fitness testing (and stations); by the end of the month, we will be transitioning to throwing and catching. Students will play all sorts of throwing and catching games/activities (focusing on hand-eye coordination & stepping with opposition).
Guidance
We are learning how to recognize bullying. Bullying is when someone keeps being mean to someone else on purpose. The person it’s happening to hasn’t been able to make it stop. It is unfair and one-sided. Ask your child what the 3 R’s of bullying are. (Recognize, Report, and Refuse).
