Spirit Week Day 1: Tremendous Participation in Case Black Out Day
This afternoon: Unified Basketball Jamboree wraps up season
Case will play two games today: 3: 30 and 5 p.m., versus Plymouth North High School.
Unified Sports brings together people with and without intellectual disabilities to compete. Leagues are organized by Special Olympics and work in conjunction with the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association. Unified basketball focuses on skill development in a season that begins in mid-September and ends today.
Many of our ARCH students are members of this team. Congratulations to all Case unified athletes for connecting to bring the Case community this inclusive opportunity.

Coming Attraction: Case Theatre presents 'The Miracle Worker'
"The Miracle Worker" is the story of Helen Keller as a child seen through the journey of her teacher, Annie Sullivan. This production also celebrates the 40th anniversary of the first Case High production of the play in 1977, which was the late Tom Marcello's first show in Swansea. Case Drama Boosters are planning a reunion event around the Sunday matinee for the 1977 cast and crew.
General admission is $10. Tickets can be reserved via email at CaseTheatreTickets@gmail.com.
And finally: World Kindness Week
When we speak of kindness and establishing it as a common bar we must all reach for, Joseph Case High School seems like a terrific place to send your children. There will be bumps in every road, but at the end of the day, students will remember if someone was kind to them far longer than curricula minutiae that seems important for a short period of time.
Please continue to model kindness. Your children, your neighbors, and your co-workers are looking to you as a model of behavior.
Peace!
Brian
