3rd Grade Weekly Update
May 3rd - 7th
Writing- I can use my knowledge of grammar to revise and edit.
Math-I can analyze and create graphs. I can review all of my 3rd grade readiness standards to prepare for STAAR.
Science- I can determine how living and non-living things help each other in ecosystems.
Social Studies- I can write an informative composition for my biography research project.
Reading- Read each day for at least 20 minutes.
Homework: Scholastic News
We started a new program called Lexia Core 5. Students can log in through Clever and practice at home. The activities are specially curated for each student in order to address his or her personal needs, and students need to spend at least 40 minutes a week on the program between school and home.
Writing- Spelling Test: Friday May 7th

Skip count in the car to practice! Come up with fun rhymes! We need 100% mastery on facts.
Science-There are no upcoming assessments in Science. We will be learning about life cycles and ecosystems with hands on lessons, labs, and projects.
Social Studies- Continue working on your Biography Project choice at home.
