British Perspective
The British had no interest to fight with the Americans. So this mean that US wanted to have the war. Also war with America was a direct consequence. No more then seven percent of the total British military effort.
Americas Perspective
The citizens didn't know much about the problem going on. This had caused no one to like George Washington. This was the most difficult war that the us had. The us fought this war to secure maritime rights. The average American only vaguely aware of why we fought.
