Field Day!
Thank you so much to Ms. Bellerose, our amazing PTO, and the staff and parent volunteers who made Field Day possible! This is our second year hosting a school-wide field day, and the students and staff are so appreciative!
Also, a special thanks to Ms. Wilson! When I approached her last year about a school-wide field day, she did not hesitate! She is so dedicated to our students and always puts them first! She volunteered many hours behind the scenes securing volunteers/vendors, purchasing supplies, scheduling events and creating/managing stations! THANK YOU times a million, Ms. Wilson!!!!

A Note from Nurse Courtney!
Good morning families,
Happy June! As the year winds down, I want to thank parents and families for another positive school year, especially after the craziness of the previous years. This one actually felt relatively normal! It is a pleasure to take care of your children, and I am lucky that I work in such a tight knit, supportive community.
For the month of May, I had 561 visits. The top complaints were dermatological issues (scrapes, poison ivy, bug bites, etc.), sore throats/congestion, mostly from the brutal allergy season, and non-serious musculoskeletal injuries (yay Field Day!).
Just a few end of the year notes:
If your child has a medication at school (epi-injector, inhaler, daily medication, etc), please arrange a time with me to come pick them up if you’d like them to take them home for the summer. Otherwise they will be stored in my office. I am able to send home epi-injectors and inhalers in their backpacks on the last day.
I will email parents whose children are prescribed medication the required paperwork for next school year. The paperwork has to be filled out every year and usually appointments over the summer are the best time to get this done.
I will check my email periodically over the summer. If there is a health concern update, please email me, and we can schedule a time to meet the week before school starts when staff are back for professional development.
I look forward to a safe and happy end of the year and hope everyone gets the rest and relaxation we all deserve after our hard work this year!
