Hello from our School Social Worker
A message from Ms. Mary
"Courage does not always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow." (Mary Anne Radmacher)
Parenting isn’t easy. Some days we may feel we got this parenting thing down; other days not so much. Don't give up, keep trying, tomorrow is a new day.
If you haven't started the 9 minute challenge, start today.
~There are 9 minutes during the day that have the greatest impact on a child:
~The first 3 minutes in the morning
~The 3 minutes after they get home from school or daycare
~The last 3 minutes of the day before they go to bed
These are 9 minutes every day we can help our children feel loved and special.
Thankful,
Mary Anderson, MSW

Hello from our School Nurse
A message from Nurse Amy
A few tips for staying healthy:
Start off strong with a healthy breakfast. A good breakfast provides energy and will help keep you alert in class. Highly sugared foods can leave you feeling tired and sluggish.
Drink plenty of water. Water is the best fluid to stay hydrated. Also, remember to drink the recommended amount of reduced-fat milk or milk alternative each day.
Don’t forget to wash your hands often. Keep hands away from your face, mouth, and nose where germs can enter your body.
Reminder: PLEASE have a current and working phone number in the school office in the event your child needs your attention.
