How It started?
Ming Dynasty ran from 1368 to 1644, with 16 emperors ruling for 276 years. The Ming Dynasty helped shape civilization. The creator of the Ming Dynasty was Zhu Yuanzhang. The Ming dynasty lasted from 1368 to 1644. The Ming Dynasty ruled China from 1368 to 1644. China had been ruled by the Yuan Dynasty. The Yuan Dynasty was set up by the Mongols who had beat China about 100 years earlier. Many Chinese did not like the Mongols and considered them there enemy.
Art
Art was a very big thing during the Mind Dynasty time period. It was made up of painting, music, poetry, and literature. They were usually blue and white. Three of the four great classical novels were wrote during the Ming Dynasty.

How did the dynasty fall?
Chinese historians believe that the dynasty fell because of its virtues and the competence of the empowers declined.
The Manchus
The biggest threat to the Ming Dynasty was the Manchus in the north. The Manchus were a tribe who lived in Manchuria. In the twelfth century, they founded a dynasty in Manchuria called the Chin dynasty. They were conquered a century later by the Mongols but became semi-independent during the Ming Dynasty.
How did the dynasty end?
Peasant Uprising
Li Zheng lead a peasant uprising in 1628 with a promise to divide land equally and eliminating grain taxes. He lead a peasant army revolt against the Ming Dynasty.
