4-H Staff Updates
We hope that you have received the Fall Harvest Meal Tickets your family is asked to sell from a Fall Harvest Committee Member or Club Leader. Please join us as we celebrate another successful 4-H year and work together to raise funds for programs for the upcoming year! Please see the Fall Harvest Information section below for ways you can help support the event!
Information regarding re-enrollment: Starting Sept. 15, 4-H members will be continuously enrolled until they age out or opt out.At the beginning of the 4-H year, you will be asked to review your member profile and update information (addresses, schools, projects, health information, etc.). You will also be reminded of the code of conduct and other authorizations.
We look forward to seeing you there!
2022 4-H Fall Harvest Information
Who is invited: Everyone! Invite your family, neighbors and friends and don't forget to sell them pre-sale meal tickets!
What: 12th Annual Winona County 4-H Fall Harvest
When: Sunday, October 2nd starting at 11am
Where: 4-H Building, Winona County Fairgrounds
Why: The 4-H Fall Harvest is an annual fundraiser for Winona County 4-H that allows us to celebrate a successful 4-H year while raising funds for the upcoming year!
4-H families can help in the following ways:
- Sell pre-sale meal tickets to family & friends! Contact your club leader or the 4-H Office if you need more!
- Volunteer! We need volunteers to help serve meals and ensure the day runs smoothly! CLICK HERE to sign-up for your volunteer shift!
- Donate- We are accepting donations for live and silent auction items. Contact Kim Stehr if your family or business would like to donate!
Want help planning a successful 4-H Year?!
Join us on September 18th in St. Charles!
Who: A team of any size of youth and adults from your 4-H club. This can include current officers or leaders from this past year or future youth and adult leaders of your club.
What: Join us for a Club Leadership Retreat where we will share ideas, information and resources and help you make plans for the 2023 4-H Year!
You can expect to:
- Gain new ideas from staff and 4-H clubs
- Learn about leadership rotations and leadership roles you can share with volunteers/parents in your club
- Get new ideas for new Youth Leader positions
- Draft of your charter & program plan for 2023
When/Where: Sunday, September 18th from 4:30-7:30pm at the St. Charles Community Center. Food will be provided
**This will take the place of a September Leader Meeting- we strongly encourage Clubs to have representatives in attendance.**

4-H Record Books
4-H is not just learning by doing. It's learning by doing it, sharing it, understanding it, relating it, and using it. Record keeping encourages you to reflect on your experience so you can share it with others and learn.

We are continuously looking for ways to improve and ask for your constructive feedback if you participated in the fair this year! Please be mindful when responding that 4-H relies on 4-H Volunteers to offer our programs. If you have skills to offer that would support our program please reach out to the Winona County Extension Office.
