Description
Fully grown crocodiles grow between 14-17 feet long and weigh up to 2,200 pounds. They are usually a greenish-grayish color. They hide there bodies under the water while there eyes stick out, looking for prey. You will usually only see them laying out in the sun.
Habitat
Mostly found in India, found in swamps, lagoons and rivers. Also found a lot in Western Australia. There is an estimated 100,000-200,000 crocodiles in Australia. Crocodiles compete fiercely with their territory. In the wet season they will even go out to sea.
Food Requirements
Crocodiles are sneaky when they hunt and usually ambush their prey. They will pretty much eat anything around their size and are not picky. They will eat smaller land animals, fish, crustaceans, frogs, birds and insects.
