Essential Question

What role do leaders play in shaping the way a community responds to a crisis and in preventing other crisis?

Leaders, such as James Brown and Martin Luther Kings Jr., play a big role in shaping the way a community responds to a crisis and in preventing other crisis. For example in the film "The Night James Brown save Boston", Brown helped prevent another crisis from rising because of the crisis including Martin Luther Kings death. In "Two Towns of Jasper" the leaders such as, the sheriff, mayor, and lawyer, helped prevent another crisis from rising because of the way they responded to the crisis considering James Bryd's death, with fairness and equality.
