Chaperones for Zoo Trip
Please let me know if you are planning on attending the Zoo trip as a chaperone for a group or just with your child. I would love to have everyone join us :)

What We Are Learning
This week during our reading time we have learned about the different life cycles of plants and animals including, butterflies, dogs, ladybugs, frogs, chicks, and sunflowers. We have completed a variety of activities pertaining to each life cycle. In math we have finished up Unit 11 with three digit subtraction and money amounts and have begun Unit 12 which focuses on measurement. In writing we identified contractions and learned how to make and use them.
Next week we will be getting quail eggs in an incubator and we will be observing them everyday until they hatch. I expect it to be a very fun time in our classroom and I will keep you updated as I'm sure your child will also.

*HOMEWORK IS DUE THE NEXT DAY. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOUR CHILD COMPLETES THEIR HOMEWORK EACH NIGHT!
