Cornerstone's Weekend Update
May 10, 2019
Don't forget! Mother's Day is Sunday, May 12. This Mother's Day we recognize ALL of the wonderful WOMEN at Cornerstone; you are loved and appreciated!
Please pick up your financial statement from the table in the Lobby. They are alphabetized by last name. If you have questions, please contact Karen Potts at 636-485-8024.
The Food Pantry needs someone (or a few people, we can have someone different do it each week) to pickup bread from Caring and Sharing every Monday morning. For more information please contact Terri Mendenhall at 314-346-9608 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The UMW/New Day Circle will meet on Thursday, May 16. Our program will be about “Aprons.” Bring your own “show and tell” apron. Lunch will be provided. Sign-up at “Sign-up Central.”
The UMM will meet on Saturday, May 18. Breakfast begins at 8:00 am with a meeting following at 8:30 am. All men are invited to attend.
Save the date! Join Cornerstone's Cheerleaders as we “cheer” on the walkers and hand out snacks & drinks at the St Louis MS Walk, June 1, in Tilles Park from 10:30 am-3:30 pm. More info. in this week's bulletin.
The Food Pantry needs Chili Beans and plastic grocery bags! Thank you in advance for your generosity.
If you would like to join the Hospitality Team (ushers, greeters, coffee servers, etc.,) please contact Patrick Lowth at 636-294-6666, or email@example.com.

There are several plots available in the Cornerstone Community Gardens. The plots are 12' X 12' and water is available. There is a charge of $10.00 to cover overhead. If interested, please contact David Oliver at 859-948-7759.
Gifts & Giving to Cornerstone can be made with Pre-tax dollars from an IRA. This can be a particularly effective method of giving for those who do not itemize their tax deductions. If you are interested in exploring this option further, consult with your IRA Plan Administrator or Financial Consultant for additional information. Please notify the church Financial Secretary in advance of your gift from an IRA so that it may be correctly recorded.
Order your produce from First Fruits Co-op and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Dewey Wofford Shoe Project! Orders can be placed between Friday mornings & noon on Monday, for pickup the following Thursday. Orders can be picked up on Thursdays between 10 am - 3 pm, or 5 pm - 7 pm. Order online at firstfruitsproduce.org, or pick up a form in the brochure rack in the Lobby!
Do you go out to eat after church on Sundays? Texas Roadhouse in O’Fallon will give 10% of your total food sales back to our church if you present your bulletin to them!
